This week’s flash fiction is called Time to Leave. It’s about someone having problems orchestrating the lives of many other people.
I finished Perdido Street Station. It was so much hearing the story again. Sarah kept on asking, “Are they still trying to kill the months?” And they were.
I’ve now begun the book’s sequel, The Scar. I love the world building. One of the protagonists, Bellis Coldwine, is working in a library on a city floating in the oceans, a city built from ships thrown together and co-opted into space for apartments and hospitals and businesses and restaurants and parks. I love libraries. My story next week is yet another story about a library.
