Yesterday turned into a surprisingly complicated day, so these weeknotes have landed up being a day late.
My latest little flash bit is called Protector. I enjoyed writing this one a lot.
I’m still reading very much what I’ve been reading for the last while. I’ve almost finished Veniss Underground, though. I’ve also finally began reading my copy of On a Sunbeam, by Tillie Walden — I’m scared that there is going to be a lot of crying while I read this. Depending on how New Years Eve turns out, I might even finish it tonight.
I have not finished the short story I’ve been working on in time for today’s submission, at least not yet. I’m still working on it today, and I am super close to having it done, so fingers crossed — but it’s going to be tight, and it’s new years eve. 🤔
