This week’s story is called Backup, and it’s about our memories of who we are, and how they differ from the actual events. I’ve kept journals since I was a kid, and it’s something easy to notice by rereading older ones.
I’ve done a lot of editing this week, which doesn’t affect word counts much. So I’ve only “written” 592 words this week. My WIP short story now also has a WIP title: The Bridge.
Reading has been a bit slow. Still working on Perdido Street Station (so much fun), and Veniss Underground (surreal, lovely). I’ve also started reading Women with Attention Deficit Disorder, which a friend had recommend quite a while ago, and I’m only getting into now.
